Default Advice needed please

Hi,
I plan to do quite a lot of sea fishing in the
adriatic, off the coast of Croatia. I have a small
Zodiac and will go about 500-1000m out to sea.
I know very little (nothing) about the rod/reel
combination I should get.
Could you recommend anything? My boat is only 3.10m
long so a nice 6ft of shorter rod would be handy.
I have £150 to spend...

Should I get a multiplier? That Shimano Charter Special looks nice, altough
I have no idea if it is suitable.

Thanks
