Default caught a 2.5 metre shark today

I am interested to know what others might do if they caught a bronze whaler?
fillet it, eat it, use it for bait, cat food???
I decided to release it.

Jeff, I'd probably keep it as long as I could deal with it quickly and keep
the fillets cold, at that size it would be pretty good eating and would make
a great fish chowder.
