Well, like I said, one doesn't ever preclude the possibility
that a poster who appears to be inane, stupid and ignorant
isn't in actuality inane, stupid and ignorant.

My real name is on my posts and I live in Urbana, Illinois.
I'm listed in the phonebook, just in case you ever want to
test that "scared puppy" theory, Mr. Hammer.

A drop shot is a rig where the sinker is on the end of the line and a
hook is tied above it - from as few inches to a foot, usually, so the
bait stands out from the line. You fish it by keeping the line tight
and lightly jiggling the worm in place.

Don't feel bad about asking questions and it is best to ignore the
pompous assholes that would rather denigrate other posters rather than
talk about fishing and try to help them.

And what "point" would you be trying to prove ? That any
anonymous halfwit who is unable to post a single coherent,
grammatically correct sentence to a Usenet newsgroup should
nonetheless be taken seriously ?

Good luck with that, dumbass.

The eternal September didn't end with the demise of AOL.

At least turn on your spell checker and use the shift key (for capital
letters). Your posts *are* painful to read.

I don't doubt it for a moment.

Hint: If you ignore the conventions of grammar and punctuation
your posts appear inane, stupid and ignorant. Of course that
doesn't preclude the possibility that you actually are inane,
stupid and ignorant but for the moment I'll give you the benefit
of the doubt.

Having lived in the south myself, I'm a real sweetheart that way.
