Default John Kerr or Anybody - Colorado River Question

Ever hear of an area near Blythe called Catfish Paradise?

I got an e-mail from a guy who said,"area north near blythe, but cannot find
anyone to ask, so asking you.
about 30 yrs or so ago, there used to be a place called catfish paradise
camp, or paradise catfish"

"my friends father is on final time, and would like to fish it one last time
if possible"

Both mention catfish Paradise.

Looks like you hit it right on the head. I sent your reply to the guy who
e-mailed me and he said it sounded right.

Looks like it is on Topock Marsh.

By the way.... Bob,

I was talking to someone the other day and he said Phoenix was going to
put in a river walk like San Antonio has.
Have you heard anything about that or know a link with renderings of the
plans?

River walk? I'm not sure what river that would be. There is a little flow
on the Salt and Verde.Rivers through town. Not much on the Gila south of
town.

I heard about a canal front porject a few years ago, but I don't think that
went anywhere.

Phoenix isn't really my area. You might try dropping Gilbert of Mesa Tackle
a line. www.tacklesupply.com
