Default Terra del Fuego Vise

Is anyone familiar with the above subject vise made in Argentina by
Steverlynck? Price is right. Saw an ad in Fly Tyer magazine.

I am looking to buy a new vise after my horrid experience with the
Thompson Cobra.

Thanks,

Dick

http://flyfishing.about.com/ftb/hwvise/index20.html gives a pretty good
review of a variety of vises, but not that one.

If I were buying a vise today, I don't think I'd look much past Renzetti,
Regal, DynaKing, or Danvise. All these vises have been used by thousands
of users, have a price range going from about a C-note to "you spent
what?", range in looks and materials from perfectly functional to "wow". I
just don't see any appeal in going for the ephemeral and untried.

If you go for exotics or "super" things, you will be disappointed. There are
plenty of good vices. It is not the vice that is is important. but what you
want to do with it. All a vice does is hold a hook.
