South Africa ? Bass fishing

Chris,

Tillapia is a farm raised fish like a cat fish, it is ussually found
in warmer waters. I was a seafood manager for years at one of our local
grocery stores, and sold the crap out of it. It would come in frozen, a very
small fillet, in fact I believe the tillapia is a vegetarian fish. Very mild
white meat. If you have any decent Mexican restaurants where you are at,
they usually have it on there menu, so give it a try, you will not be
disspapointed.

workout fanatic, but do hit the iron 5 days a week. I wonder how I
could incorporate Talapia into my diet. YOu have any idea if you can
get Talapia in stores.

:-). And if the bass can benefit from it, why can't I. Dammit, my post

Apparently Lake Okeechobee was full of them. I'd never heard of Tallapia
until we went down there, and people seemed to be targeting them alot.
Didn't know about the protein thing...

Funniest thing that I seen down there were the Jumping Fish...

orange snapper, etc. Just ask the fish-guy for "tilapia". Beautiful white
flesh & very nutricious.

Got hit on the head with a 3 pound striped mullet once on the Indian River
Lagoon near Melbourne, funny now but not at the time.

Charles, how were the guys "targeting" tilapia? They're algae eaters as far
as I know...
