Last year Randy asked that question. Now it's my turn.

What were the highlights of your 2004 fishing season. Personal
highlights are ok too, just add some fishing to them :}

Mine had to be winning the NWC. Particularly the second day when Kevin
put us on that slop bite. After that I had to go out and buy some
horny toads as he was getting many more bites than I was from the back
of the boat. Now if the ice would just get off the lakes so I could
try them out.

Top 5 Highlights
1. Seeing my son Tyler catch a 4 lb largemouth without help (on a SW
spinnerbait!).
2. Spending my 41st birthday with Steve Huber on Lake Erie smallmouth
fishing.
3. Weighing in 22lbs, 5 oz. in the second day of the BFL
SuperTournament.
4. Finishing in the top 10 (4th and 7th) twice and another top 20
during the BFL season.
5. Spending time with Joe H and Charles at the FLW Tour Championship.
Can you say Yamaha Cheerleaders????

Top 5 lowlights
1. Discovering biscuits and sausage gravy at the Tour Championship.
2. Loosing a 2lb fish on a buzzbait during a BFL on the river that
would have given me a chance to win the division.
3. Breaking a rod with another 2lber on during the same tournament.
4. Cataract surgery
5. Locking my thumb in the truck door before duck hunting (3 months
later and I almost have a new thumbnail).

You didn't like the biscuits and gravy? Or is it the lady that made them
what you miss?

Bisquits and gravy? Son, that's the staff of life across the Southland.

I have to give you credit... you didn't cut and run when Betty served
up the grits. Most Yankee's don't seem to be able to work up the....
appetite? interest? courage? enthusiasm? Anyway, you tried them. I
think you did, at any rate. The speck of grits on the tip of one tine
of your fork was a little difficult to see all the way across the table.

I must be a "Closet Southerner" then. Man, I love Biscuits and Gravy.
Grits??? Bring em on. Love them too. But, do you have any idea how hard
they are to find in Rhinelander?
