Default stichin'

Hi folks,

I hear/read it's a "deadly" finesse technique ... How are you doing that?
Could someone explain in detail? Or point me to a good article maybe?

Yesterday I was trying to do what I thought it should be: tube with a
split-shot and #2 hook inside, 8# mono on a spinning rod. What I did was
slowly retrieving the line with my fingers and reeling up the slack when
it was getting 1-2' (thinking what will happen if a fish bites exactly at
that moment ...). Well, I didn't get a bite that way but it was a slow day
anyway. Only one LM about 15" while lazily hopping (almost deadsticking)
the tube (not stichin').

Thanks,
Nikolay
