Default Graeagle fishing; what's it like

We just got a property in Cromberg area; what's fishing nearby like?
Any good freshwater fish? And how big a pole do you need? Our fishing
expeirence is mostly sal****er.

(Newbie note: I'm new to the newsgroups hope netiquette is okay)
Cheers,

Lake Davis is good, and you are nearer to Eagle Lake at Susanville than most
of us. Try posting on www.anglernet.net Is a freshwater board for NorCal.
Standard light weight 4-6# test for the trout. Davis has Northern Pike.
They are catch and kill! Some dip**** stocked them and the state has spent
$millions trying to kill them and keep them out of the river system. They
are expected to decimate the salmon as they did it a river system in Alaska.
Any of the tackle shops in the area will help you.
