is this the fish essence soaked rag strips?
if so, I read about them couple of years ago,
the long lines people really like them.
or is it a putty bait?
regards malcolm

Hi Malcolm, sort of. I used them last year on the boat. Used in conjunction
with bait they work really well, on their own, about the same as bait. From the
shore, I haven't really found enough fish to give them a fair trial yet.
Cheers, Norman.

it's like a rag strip, but it's kinda rubbery, stays on the hook very well,
I think it's a new adaptation
of the soaked rag, it swells up and, without being rude, gets a bit snotty,
but still stays on the hook.
check out www.fishinginnovations.co.uk that's where I got it from.
didn't catch anything with it though, but neither did the five other people
on the beach using normal bait.

That's what I meant about not enough fish for a fair trial, cheers, Norman.

Must be bloody good if it attracted that redfish to our shores from Texas
:-)
