Default Surf Fishing Myrtle Beach

Anyone do any fishing along myrtle beach. Would like to know the best
bait to use and what size weight. Newby at surf fishing but see a lot
of people fishing when I'm down there,planning on going down this
weekend/
any suggestions would be apprecieated.

I have seen people using a Hatteras Doodlebug there with good results
