Head cement

Question please: For basic tying of nymphs and dries (for trout), has anyone used Hard As Nails clear nail polish by Sally Hansen as a head cement and how has it performed as a head cement? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Guy Hard As Nails works very well. But it also has a lot of formaldehyde which makes it impossible for me to use as I have a skin sensitivity to the stuff. Like some of the others I seldom use head cement. In the last year I've taken to using little daps of Zap a Gap on questionable areas of my flies (parachute posts, calftail wings). g.c. |

I like the black nail polish for eyes on salt water flys and the glitter for
adding sparkle to sal****er flies. Lou T |
