Default Lake George in August

That's right, I'm headed to Lake George in NY this August with the family.
First I'm hoping that someone might have some tasty bits of info to help me
enjoy my week. Secondly, I'll be fishing most mornings from the 5th to the
12th by myself so if any of you ROFBers are in the area and would like to
meet me for a day, it could happen. The last time I was up there it was
late June(2002) and the fish were practically jumping in the boat. I don't
know what to expect from August. Any advice from the NE?

Lake George is the finest dropshot lake I've ever had the pleasure of
fishing. They couldn't eat the rig any better. I'll post a few Lake George
pics on abpf as soon as I'm done with this post. I just spent last week up
there for the NJ Federation State Team tourney, my team had the lead after
day 1 & eventually finished second.
