Default NC flies de jour

here is a list of flies i like to use in the fall:

adams parachute
sulphur parachute
lt. cahill parachute
march brown parachute
bwo parachute

the reason i like to use parachutes is that i can see them well
and also they offer a good platform to drop some:

hares ear
pheasant tail
sinking ants

nymphs off behind them if conditions warrant.

if fishing a dropper, i usually have it tied 12 to 18 inches
behind the dry fly. stimulators also work well as well as foam
patterns for the indicator fly.

also, don't forget your beetle and ant imitations..... big browns
love beetles!

from the high country,

Kewl! An excuse to tie some more beetles. I also plan to bring some soft
hackles. Sure do like fishing those.

My itinerary has changed to just Monday and Tuesday night. Maybe Sunday
if I do the dishes and laundry Saturday.

Anybody got Camping Tent space to share? I don't' snore. Honest. Really.
I don't. Not one bit.
