Default Opinions Needed - Lure Selection

Hi everyone, my buddy just recently got me hooked on smallmouth fishing and
he's been lending me his lures to fish with since I don't really have any
yet except some tubes which work but I want something different to try. I
was thinking of buying the following lures and wanted your opinion on if you
think they are good quality and work well or if you would recommend another
one instead. I've been told Perch colors work great where I fish so that's
why I would choose that color for most of them. Here's what I have in mind:

- Cotton Cordell Grappler Shad - Perch Color
- Heddon Zara Spook - Baby Bass Color
- Rebel Pop-R - Perch or Clear Color
- Booyah Double Willow Spinnerbait - Chartreuse Perch Color
- Berkley Power Worm (4") - Pumpkin/Chartreuse Color (was thinking of
getting the Yum Ribworm instead but not sure which one to go with)

Also, does anyone know of an online store with good prices that will ship to
Canada or even better, one that is in Canada so I can pay in Canadian funds
which would be much cheaper for me? I've been looking at the LandBigFish.com
store which seems pretty good but maybe you have a better suggestion.

I appreciate any help you can give!

Thanks,

Dre

Dre,
I've never used any of the lures you mentioned much (or at all), but they
should work fine. My favorite smallmouth lures a
-Rapala floating minnow in silver/black, gold/black, perch
-Rapala Husky jerk in same colors
-Roostertail spinners in black/chartruce, black/silver, brown/gold, firetiger
-Twistertail grubs in chartruce/silver glitter, black/chartruce tail, white
-4" Senkos in cinnamon, pumpkin, green pumpkin, blue pearl/silver flake
-1/4 oz spinnerbait (I make my own with componants from stamina inc.)
-Mann's baby 1-Minus in citrus shad, copper shad, or grey ghost.

Thanks for the advice. My buddy actually showed up at my place last night
and helped me decide what would be best for the area we fish. Here's what we
went with:

Roboworm Zipper Worm - Pumpkin Chartreuse - 4"
Yum Ribworm - Black Neon/chartreuse - 4"
Heddon Torpedo - Baby Bass
Heddon Torpedo - Fluor. Green Crawdad
Heddon Super Spook Jr. - Baby Bass
Bumper Stumper Tournament Series Double Willow Spinnerbaits -
Chartreuse/White - 3/8 oz
Smelly Jelly Sticky Liquid - Crawfish
Rebel Pop-R - Silver/Black

I already have some tubes so that should cover pretty much everything. I
ended up not ordering a crankbait because they aren't that good this time of
year and there's some available not too far from where I live when I decide
to get some.

I can't wait to go out and try my new gear!

Don't forget MadMan craws in either tube or worm style. Green Pumpkin/Black
Flake is one of my favorites for both large and smallmoth bass.
