Default Rock Creek last weekend

It was supposed to be the weekend of the salmon fly hatch
But rain and cooler weather kept it down - for another week or so
The river and feeder streams were for the most part not fishable - far too
high & fast.
However
The woods were so lush that it made my head spin.

Just stunning greens , yellows , reds ..
..
The fishing was not good but who really cared
It will be better later on in the summer.

Fortunately -
It has been a good year for rain and snow out West

I'm headed there early next week.
How high was the water?
What color the water?

Too high to wade and brown dirty water in a lot of places
There is still a lot of run off to come.
