TR - Patuxent C&R
Finally got my fishin license on Friday and went down to the Patuxent C&R
stretch (Rt.94 south of Woodbine) of the stream to have a look. Was concerned about the conditions since it rained the night before so, I hiked down to the stream with my camera and found that the water was still quite high. Talked to a fisherman there and he said there wasn't much going on. The stream looked quite different from the last time I was there (back during last summer). Alot of the trees lying in or over the stream were moved into different positions and some that were there, if I remember correctly...just weren't. Water was really murky and moving at a good clip. Water temp was around 44 deg. There must have been a Black stone fly hatch going on. One landed on the fisherman I was talking to. I decided not to fish since it was getting near dusk. I spent the rest of my time wandering around the trail and taking some pic's. I'll post em up on ABPF when I get them dl'ed. Anthony |
