Default Help: Lewis and Clark Fly Shop

http://www.lewisandclarkflyshop.com/

Has anyone had experience ordering from this shop. My order is running
late, and attempts to dredge up a contact phone number is coming up
empty. Yes, I know I shouldn't order from a place without a phone number
listed, but I was on a gear gathering blitz, and this detail slipped by
me. ;-) Back to Lewis and Clark Fly Shop. They list themselves as being
in Webster, NY. The only phone number I came up with, is
incorrect(residence). Their email isn't working.

Help.

Bad news. These guys have a "history." You might try starting here, to
learn from what others in the same boat have done:

Sounds like deja vu all over again. I'm surprised these jokers
still have a web presence. I figured the BBB would have been all over
them after some of their previous exploits.

DAMN!

Thanks guys. So far, no charges were made on my CC. I will be checking
daily, just in case.

FWIW, I live about 4 or 5 miles south of Webster, if it's the Webster near
Rochester-- it's in the territory of my TU Chapter. I have never heard of
the place.

Better yet, perhaps you can ask your CC company to refuse any charges made
by L&C (after explaining the situation.)

Default Lewis and Clark Fly Shop

Brian, if you received an order number from them, log back onto their site
and cancel the entire order. Notify your credit card company that the
entire order has been canceled and that the site is non-responsive. Tell
them not to pay for anything from the company.

Count yourself fortunate. Others have lost lots of money.

Bill,

I tried that. I was told that I could dispute the charge, but not
prevent it from being posted to my account. FWIW, I tracked down a phone
number for the shop, and it was the same one that others came up with. I
called and a young lady answered. I asked if it was L&C Fly Shop. She
said no, but it didn't seem like she was all that surprised by my
inquiry. Strange.

If you have an address, post it.

From the Lewis & Clark website:

Address - 940 Holt Rd Bldg 145
Webster, NY 14580

From a whitepages.com search:

1835 Woodard Road, Webster, NY 14580
(716) 265-3593

The 716 area code has been changed to 585.

I'm chalking this one up to a big DOH! on my part. If I find they
charged my CC, then i'll contact the proper agencies.

Thanks for all the replies.
