knot question
i've been trying to make my own snell hooks to save some money and i am
running into a little problem. I've been following the directions on the following site: http://www.marinews.com/fishing/Knot...k_hooksnel.htm the problem is that the knot seems to only be held by gravit or a pulling force. i can easily undo it by pushing it back out of the eye of the hook. is this normal or is there some way of securing it that i am not seeing from this site??? thanks again... |

knot question
"Sarge" wrote in message ... Try this site http://www.cptdave.com/snell-hook.html That site showed an easier way to make the knot but it still isn't secured. Am I missing something? No matter how tight I pull it if I try to push the line back through the hole the way that it came it will go right through and unravel.... Is that normal? Sarge |

knot question
OOPS... I found my mistake. I wasn't wrapping the line around the other
parts of the line properly. I now know what to do and all it will take is practice.
