Default Friday Afternoon Off

I am now convinced that we are meant to fish on Friday afternoons
(maybe all afternoons - I just don't have the supporting evidence yet)
instead of work. I live in central Florida and spent the late
afternoon on a local lake running BassPro's red Stik-O through the
lilly pads and shallows. I don't know if it was the the little front
that blew through in the middle of the day, or the slight change in
temps, or because it was late in the day, or just what factors are to
credit, but I had some great bass fishing. In about an hour and a
half I had 18 fish on and boated 14. Four were lost in the pads and
grass. Nothing over 2.5 lbs but a heck of a lot of fun. I just got a
used bass boat and started fishing fresh water in Florida a couple of
weeks ago so this was a real treat.

Thought I'd share the experience. If nothing else it may be the
motivator for other to get out there again soon. As for me -- I will
be out at dawn!

Sounds like you better plan on a little job hunting in a few weeks!
Congrats on the nice outing.

Saturday's sure aren't. I'm guiding today, 39 degrees for a high, with
25-30 mph winds and rain mixed with snow!
