Other then it will float lighter in sal****er then freshwater , it should
hold the same. Now if your question is in the quality of the boat you will
have to ask someone else.

I'm looking at their 23'. I'm also considering the Polar 23'. Both seem to be
well made but the sea trials will tell...

Dan, from what I have seen the key west boats are impressive. Nothing in the
boats that would rot. All SS metal railings, fitting ,etc. But how does the
boat hold up in the long run. I do not know anyone wo has one. They have been
around for awhile because, I priced one about 10 years ago. I dicided to redo
the engine of my grady white instead. guy

Did someone say polar ? I had a 18 ft wide (8 ft Beam)1999 model, and it
sucked.
Great on flat water bad in chop. Gel Coat very thin and design
not thought out. Gauges and lights had a wiring problem from factory.
Gas gauge wires corroded off water dripping off access cover . Rod holders
only
held 2 rods should have been 3 both sides, hand rails on the center counsel
in the way.
Live well couldn't get water, pump too high above water line. Got air no
water.
No air bags, No foam in bottom of double haul had to drain condensation out.
Rub rail pulled out ! They had short rivets and no backing washers ! Front
pull off
1 st week in the water. I got a Boston Whaler..end of problems..
I catch fish now and don't worry about the boat !
Paid $13,000 got $ 7,200 after two years use ! No trade in value..
Had a great motor on it ( Yamaha) but the boat sucked big time.
Got the boat at Gerrys Marine and I would never do that again.

P.S. No one has a Key West in Key West..they all have Boston Whalers
