Hey Moe, I've lived in Mich. my whole life and NORTH IS NOT THE WAY
TO GO IN WINTER ! Do you just want to get a first hand look at how we
suffer? Hope you're bringing a shovel along. hehehe

Ok, so maybe I am - lol. Going North for the Winter, that's right I am taking
the season off and going to western NY for the winter. Waterport to be
specific. That's between Buffalo and Rochester on a river that's connected to
Lake Onterio. I have never seen a winter or a white Christmas and as I get
older, figure I'd better do so while I still can. Not to worry, I will be back
in Okeechobee in time for the Southern Classic. No ice fishing for me but any

It ain't crazy I don't think, let's hope not.
Ya happen too be infected with the fishing bug and a healthy dose of "what's
over the hill" wanderlust.
Our winters can freeze a nun further than she is but my gosh can all those
ice faries and mist brownies surely fascinate your eyes.
Our fish buddies take a lot of fishing knowledge, common sense, luck and a
sckowsh of dependable tackle.
The fish will give you a time but look around and remember you're leavin
this place too return to Floridag.
