Default drop shot senkos

Just watched a fishing show with roland martin tearin up bass using
senkos with no weight in shallow water. If I'm fishing in deeper
water will senkos work if I drop shot them?

Work ????????

Yes they will work (catch fish),, as well as without a weight,, I don't
think so, unless a very long lead from the lure to the weight, this lure
is designed to catch fish on the free "fall". I've caught fish with
them rigged on my Long Shot, but the action was not the same as they
were designed for "any worm" would have worked as well, or better on my
rig at that time I would think. I just used them to see what they would
do on it. Using them on just the drop shot just might produce plenty of
fish, but it's not the designed action you get when they are fished
weightless
