Okay, you gear whores...... *Any experience, comments, recommendations

I have it narrowed down to the Hatch 7+ reel with a Sage Xi3 9ft 8
weight. *Expensive combo, but from what I have read, a very good one. *
I have cast the Sage as well as an Orvis Helios, and find either one
quite suitable for my limited experience with higher weight rods.

PS:

Don't rule out the ZXL from Sage, the Winston BIImx or BIIIx, or the
new Loomis series. I've not played with the Xi3, but throughly enjoyed
the Xi2.

Just the trout rods in 3 and 4, for anglers who like fast rods and 9'
lengths it seemed to be a nice rod and the four really shot the big
bass popper I tossed. For a fast rod it had a good feel and you could
probaly feel a fish fart. Were I in the market for another salt rod or
a 9' trout rod to use out west I would consider but unless I stumble
upon an old Russ Peake glass rod I am not looking to add more rods.

The puppy drum do not like. Hatch reels
