Default Fishing rod info

I am looking for additional rod information, including value (if there is
any...)

Here is what I have:
Royal Lancer
Custom built by Horr*cks . Ibb**son (stars * are where the paint is chipped
and I can't read the name.)
Register number 4839
LSL-7'
The rod guides are gold and wrapped onto the rod with black string.
There are gold spirals on top of the black string.
It looks like the rod might be split bamboo since there is presence of wood
grain and it is very light.
The rod was matched with a Garcia Mitchell 300 open faced reel.

It all works great and I have used it (new line) to catch a mess of
bluegills and crappies. Very sensitive tip and easy to cast small lures.

Thanks,

Greg

That name is a "Harrocks-Ibbitson". They were a well known rod maker
and fishing tackle importere in the old days.

Thanks group,

I guess its not a treasure but it is usefull for fishing.

It can cast a ice jig well, has great action, small crappie or bluegill feel
like lunkers and I can let my kids use it without worring about it.

Appreciate the input.

Greg
