northern cal fishing late fall and winter
How much is the out of state license, and is the fishing good in N. CA?
I'll be fishing for trout, and don't have a boat. Stream access would be a factor too, and don't like hudge rivers if possible. Thanks

Thanks Many/most of the Nor Cal rivers close on Nov 15th. Two exceptions are the Lower, and Upper Sacramento River. Fishing can be good, but always determined by weather/water temps, and....well, the fisherman's abilities. :-) brians brians

The Sac is huge. But you can bank fish a lot of areas. You can fish from
the gravel bars behind the rodeo park in Redding (also know as the Posse Grounds). May be worthwhile to book a guide for a day. About $175. "gary" wrote in message .net... How big are those rivers?
