Default Pike fishing

Hello,

I am new to Piking and wish to take up lure fishing.

What recommendations would you give on the type of spinning/lure rod? As
a member of Farnham Angling Society the waters I will be fishing vary
from 60 Acres (Frensham Big Pond) to around 6 Acres plus rivers. I
already have a Daiwa Millionaire Multiplier reel and hope that I can
press this into service.

Your comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't get a lot of time to fish, ironic really as I supply bait all over
the world, that being the reason though. I'm not sure, and please correct me
if I'm wrong (anyone), but I'm pretty sure any decent carp rod should
suffice.
