Default Catfish bait recipe

I have a 4.5 acre pond that I stocked with 5" channel catfish last
June. I wanted to catch one to check on their status and see how much
they have grown. The problem is is that I cant seem to catch one. I'm
used to catching catfish in the river and not a pond. Anyone have any
ideas? I'm in south western PA, zone 5 and the temps have been around
75-85 lately. Normally I use worms but they haven't worked. Does
anyone have a catfish bait recipe they use?

I've been casting out into the middle of the pond where it's just flat
bottom with some aquatic plants. I'm going to move to areas with
fallen trees and a rock patch I build.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam

Use cut fish as bait.
Fish after the sun starts going down.
