I have a friend who had a trip to the Bahamas or somewher like that
cancelled the first week of Dec.. He d like to use that week for

That's a bit late for prime fish in Idaho, but the steelhead should be
fresh on costal streams in Wash and Ore. Also consider the tail end of
the chum salmon runs. The fish will be off color, but still hard
fighting.

Hi Mark,

December is good for coastal winter steelheading in Nor Cal, OR & WA but it
is cold as hell and not to easy. Also weather is a big problem . Not enough
rain or too much rain.

You could do some winter trout fishing on the tail race fisheries like at
Lees Ferry.

You could go to the tropics near the equator.

New Zealand, Australia, Chile or Argentina?
