OT Sorry, Chuck ...
I don't know when I've seen a clearer case of the referees
totally missing a game-deciding call. By all rights Vanderbilt pulled the upset last night, but it's Georgetown that's going to advance. Tough luck. -- Ken Fortenberry |

Chuck Vance is a regular poster here, a college basketball fan and a Vanderbilt alum. And the post is clearly marked OT for Off Topic. I have two suggestions for you, the first is to read this: http://www.cs.nmsu.edu/~jcook/ROFF/ and the second is **** off and go back to lurking, you anonymous piece of ****. -- Ken Fortenberry |

I have two suggestions for you, the first is to read this: http://www.cs.nmsu.edu/~jcook/ROFF/ and the second is **** off and go back to lurking, you anonymous piece of ****. -- Ken Fortenberry Mmm, my post actually had two points. Firstly, one of the problems with this group, in my opinion, is that there is too much OT content - and not all of it is marked as such. My view, for what it's worth, is that it would be better if it was a flyfishing group, pure and simple. But then, thats a logical approach and I know that you have little time for, or understanding of, logic. Others may debate my view but you, I am sure, will dismiss it out of hand Secondly, a cruel trick, for which I apologise to other participants. I wondered just how much (or little) it would take to show you up as the crude and foul mouthed bully that you appear to be. Well; not much, it seems! The good news from your point of view is that I am going to take some of your advice. I am about to leave this group, forever. To me it's not much of a loss, although I will miss some of the advice and comment from those contributors who do post meaningful and logical information. That includes Mike O'Connor. If I may leave you with a little advice. Don't bother to reply to this post because I will never see it. The next key strokes after sending this post will remove this group from my listings. If you respond in your normal way, it will only serve to diminish you in the eyes of other members ........................................... if that's possible. J |

The refs missed it, but I didn't even see it myself until they ran the replay in slow-slow motion. I'm proud of the boys; they had some great wins this season, and this one just wasn't meant to be. And the good news is now I get to say that Vandy is at least as good as Nawth Cackalacky. :-) Chuck Vance (who loves ya, wayno?) |
