Tbh they're not too bad compared with a lot that bites, scratches and stings
in the countryside or on the water.

The scary thing is it's always with rusted hooks...lol


Now I do try to avoid that part - at the very least keep the points bright.

I always have a small first-aid tin in my pocket.

The great thing about hooks is, if at all possible, to get them out quickly.

I am not so sure.
Take a look at this.
BUT NOT IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH - it is gut wrenching. but of course, a useful
lesson.
