Default Lube instructions for a PTI Spinning reel

I dipped my Quantum Kinetic PTI in the lake while on my new pontoon boat, it
became very difficult to reel in, but was able to back reel and rotate
without any problems. It felt like there was a ton of goop in it, I tried
to tinker best I could mid lake with no luck, I re-dunked it and it worked
as good as before? I need to clean, grease and lube it and don't have my
booklet that came with, any help on where I can find this info on the take
apart and lube recommendations?

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks for the info fellas, I guess I was looking for take apart
instructions so I don't end up with leftover parts on the reassembly, I
think I'll take it in for a professional service, it's 2-3 years old and
never had a take apart cleaning.

Thanks again guys,
Mike

Mike,
The thing to do with a "new" reel is to take it apart and replace all
the factory grease with less and better grease and oil in much smaller
amounts than the factory uses. Silicon grease in very small amounts
and extremely light oils or even auto tranny fluid. You may have to
clean and lube more often but performance will be increased enough to
make it worth learning how to do it. If you are afraid of not putting
it back together correctly, take digital pics of each step when you
disassemble it.

Go he

Click on the picture of your specific reel and you will see an exploded
parts diagram. It isn't step by step instructions, but maybe it will help?
