I don't what kind of frogs they have in AZ or MI but I have never seen a
frog that looked like one of Gil's..



Is there a picture of one of Gil's frogs somewhere. Some soft baits look like a
bit of an abstraction of the real thing. For instance Bo.Hawg Frog, Uncle Josh
Crawfrog, Spring Lizard Pup, etc.

Thank you for the reference. To me they look very much like frogs. At one time
i used live frogs. They tightened up the regs to the point where it is no
longer feasible to use live frogs. Basically I can only take one (caught
myself) frog per fishing outing. If I was to use an artificial frog it would be
one with a lot of leg action (ie.ribbon type legs).
