Looks totally bad for me Chucky. The economy has taken a toll on my
business. I've had to start wearing a couple more hats in the operation
after having to implement lay-offs a bit over a year ago. On top of that
I'll be having back surgery mid Jan. But hey, if things turn for the better
and I can swing it, I'll be there.

You beat me to it Warren. I was just about to explain the same thing in
almost the same context. It's almost as if these "tournaments" need to

take
on a new name or title.

I've been fortunate enough to attend a couple of these. And to those of

you
with doubts about the purpose of these "tournaments", you should become
aware that these gatherings are about great times, strengthening

friendships
and making new ones. Not a Federated or sanctioned "tournament". It's a
weekend picnic of somewhat of an extended family. When you walk away

after
your first, you'll be excited about your next opportunity to go back and
meet once again with your new found brothers, sisters, and Dads (Jerry).

I've missed the last 1/2 dozen or so. And it sucks to do so. But the
circumstances were unavoidable that have caused me to miss them. So

those
of
you with nothing more than doubt in your way to making a decisions to
attend, it's your loss if you don't.

Do they have raccoons in Michigan? I woke up to a loud noise just outside
my Greatroom. I slid open the door wall and there was at least a dozen
raccoons. I swear on my father's grave, it looked like they were having a
party. There was at least five coons sitting at the picnic table. A couple
more standing on the table, two on the ground just below the trash can, and
one in the trash can throwing out garbage. I had my gun with me and the one
in the can never made it out. I dropped it where he stood. I also manage
to blow away the one standing on table. The rest scattered. That was the
last time them bad boys of the night raided and partied at the Baugher's.
The wife was ****ed, but she didn't have to clean the garbage up in the
middle of the night.

You gonna drag yourself down there Warren? I think we need to fish

I've seen one of them Florida rainstorms before, and it wasn't anything

I'd
want to be in during a tournament.

With all due respect BassMr, these rofb tournaments aren't about winning

loosing. Hell, I pay perfectly good money to loose much bigger

tournaments
;-)

You often hear about how many phony/wacko/psycho/freaky/etc people you

run
into on the internet. Attend an rofb get-together & you'll meet a whole
bunch of the *realest" folks on the net. You'll be smilin & havin fun

from
dawn till dusk (later, if you want), win, lose or draw.

Best thing is...you're invited!

P.S.
I'm really not trying to steal the day of fishing with Moe from anyone,
it's
just that I know what a guided trip would cost, and we might as well start
there, since Moe was kind enough to offer up the money for a youth group.
I've tried at least twice to arrange a guided trip with the ancient one,

but
he was always unavailable for the time period. So one way or another, I'll
get to fish with him someday. So everyone need to jump in and let's get

the
bidding started.

Wait a second here. Now I know from experience that this group has a

three
tournement(that I was involved with) 6 day grand total winning weight of
about 20 something pounds, low twenty at that. Is anyone thinking this

is
the tourney that will change things? I'll offer my predictions now.

1st place- 10lbs 6 oz- 3 fish limit
2nd place- 7lbs 4 0z- 2 fish limit
3rd place- 6 lbs even- 1 fish
4th place- 5 lbs 2 oz- 2 fish
and a tie for 5-17th place at 0 pounds 0 ounces

For it does not matter where we fish
and it does not matter what we wish
With ROFB on board with net
there is only 1 certain bet
Skunk we will a day or two
we'll all be glad we made it through
to shrare a drink and chat a while
and avoid a stinking crocodile.

No matter what the draw, I'll be fishing on the back of the Nitro on the
second day, that's almost a given.

Oh and dam you Jerry, i was hoping to fish with moe!!!

Not complaining, just never fished that type of format is all.In

golf
tournaments for example they use a handicap system to level the

playing
field,in tournaments I have fished before,if there was a local

guide
or
"semi-pro" in the field, they worked out a way to "handicap" that
particular
fisherman.
I think it's great that you are trying to raise money for the

church,I
do
it
every week.

Well if you would stop throwing out those peanut butter scented 4'' grubs
