Bass Vs. Carp
Don't twist my words Rodney, it's childish. We were talking about state
laws & carp...what's the use, I give up on you. I wouldn't advocate live release of snakeheads in the Potomac either lol. Warren "Rodney Long" wrote in message ... Bill McKee wrote: Some places require killing a breed of fish. Northern Pike are one here in California. Some idiot planted them in Lake Davis. Feeds the Feather River and the the Sacramento Delta system. Would decimate the salmon and steelhead runs if they get into the system. Happened in Alaska on one of the river systems. You have to dispatch the pike to Pike Valhalla upon landing one. Don't tell warren this,, he does not want facts, to get in the way of his beliefs, it's not a "feel good law", how dare you tell some kid who lands a Pike bigger than his leg he has to kill it, there can be no law requiring that,, it does not "feel" right to him, so your not telling the truth. -- Rodney Long, Inventor of the Long Shot "WIGGLE" rig, SpecTastic Thread Boomerang Fishing Pro. ,Stand Out Hooks ,Stand Out Lures, Mojo's Rock Hopper & Rig Saver weights, Decoy Activator and the EZKnot http://www.ezknot.com |

Bass Vs. Carp
Interesting Bill. Are Northern Pike considered gamefish in other California
waters? Warren "Bill McKee" wrote in message nk.net... "go-bassn" wrote in message ... Nope, actually I don't have the time of day for the likes of you Rodney. I just didn't want some poor reader to be mislead by your nonsense. Imagine telling a kid that just had the time of his life fighting and landing a carp longer than his leg that he now has to kill the beast because the law says so. lmao Warren "Rodney Long" wrote in message ... go-bassn wrote: 30 years ago, lol Rodney. I'd bet you're wrong about that too. And I always admit when I'm wrong old fella. Never on this group,, I can go back and pull up the history of this news group all the times you were WRONG, and failed to ever admit it. It's quite a list. From not removing dinks from small ponds, to having to obey size and number limits on private ponds, to algae blumes don't cause fish kills, and you don't need to remove bass from ponds to maintain a proper balance. Of course we won't go into the what makes a bass eat a lure, something about you not wanting a bass to see the lure real well,, which means slow presentations don't work. No, you don't admit when your wrong, but that's water under the bridge, I don't want to fight on this group with you,, you want to fight, email me, and we will do it in private -- Rodney Long, Inventor of the Long Shot "WIGGLE" rig, SpecTastic Thread Boomerang Fishing Pro. ,Stand Out Hooks ,Stand Out Lures, Mojo's Rock Hopper & Rig Saver weights, Decoy Activator and the EZKnot http://www.ezknot.com Some places require killing a breed of fish.
