Hi "KB" ....

I was wondering if you know any NI web sites showing marks
and catch reports.
It's always good to see whats happening to the fishing up there
compared to the "RAPE" of our sea down here in the English Channel.
Should'nt complain I suppose as I'm off to Selsey at the weekend with
a very good chance of 5 or 6 fish in a session weighing anything up to
23lb ...although more realistically 8 - 12lb .

Cheers again mate .. Any info greatly appreciated

Ian

If you think the Channel is bad, you should try the Irish Sea. There's
practically nothing left, yet the ball-less politicians won't side with the
scientists & stand up to the commercials. Another year's micro-harvest and
the chances of our kids ever catching a cod, haddock, whiting etc. there
will be gone forever.

I normally fish from Carlingford S to Dundalk Bay & North a little way, and
that's pretty crap. There are macks in summer, and Carlingford can be good
for tope (oddly enough, that population seems to be OK). Don't know much
about the rest of NI, but off Donegal, the fishing is fantastic - a 976lb
Bluefin can't be bad!

Cheers again mate .. Any info greatly appreciated

Ian
