How early should I expect to start catching mackerel in N Wales, also does
anyone know a good supplier of sandeel in this area?

don't know but we were catching mackerel at Folkestone Kent just two days
ago and they were sizable not Joey's!!!

Out this afternoon, catch was: 1 gurnard & 1 whiting....no mackerel!

Surprisingly we had the first mackerel out of Scrabster at the weekend
together with a couple of launce. Never seen them this early this far north.

The Makerel certaintly haven't arrived in Co Antrim. Was out Thursday and
Sunday and even the Pollock at Blackhead were absent.

Fishing report for yesterday 15th & today 16th May: Species caught: Bull
Huss, Tub Gurnard, Dogfish, Whiting, Garfish, Bass, Dab, Black
Bream........where are the Mackerel?

that's because they are 20 yards down from the elbow just under the water
serfice at Folkestone Kent
