Default FB ROFF

The Facebook ROFF group is changing. FB has decided that instead of
just upgrading all groups to the new format, you have to make a new
group and invite all the people. FB WILL BE SHUTTING THE OLD GROUPS
DOWN!
FB is a great place to post pics, send out clave invites and put in
other things that we can't do on USENet. Its not for everyone, not
saying it is. It is however, convenient.
Do a FB search on ROFF. If you find a group of that name who's icon
is a red plastic beer cup, that's the new group.
For those who would like to post pics to it and you don't like the
idea of having a FB account, well, get a throw away gmail addy, set up
a fb account under your ROFF name. When it asks for your birthday or
other crap, LIE!! You do NOT have to tell the truth, the FB police
will not be knocking on your door. However, for ease of use (and to
prevent lockouts if they ever start filtering FB), make sure your fake
birthday makes you over 21.
Cheers all
Frank Reid
(btw, its an open group like roff here. However, I do have the
ability to ban spammers. I'm fairly lenient, I've only kill filed
three people in my 13 years on ROFF and one of them was me)
