Default Recommended 5wt pack rod?

I've come into some small change and I'd like to spend it on a new 5wt
pack rod. I'm a bit out of touch on the newer equipment and would
appreciate any suggestions. Maybe a 9' for some bigger rivers.
Thanks in advance, Aengus

Kinda hard to beat the Cabelas Stowaway. They have a 9' 5wt 6 piece
that will serve quite well.

Have to agree with Frank. My 7.5 ft, 7 piece 4wt is by far my most used
rod. Most of my fishing is done on small streams. They are fine casting
rods at a good price.

I've been using a 5-piece 9-foot 5-weight Sage SP as a pack rod for
years. It's perfect, IMO. They aren't made any more, but may be
available on eBay.
