Hi Bill / Jarod, Hey guys.

Don't know if you still read this group or not, but I have a good fishing
buddy who is transferring up to to Monterrey. Spent his last three years at
MCAS Yuma (when he wasn't deployed to Afganistan), and he is a great guy.
Always pitches in for gas, asks what he can bring etc. Anyway the Corps
sent him to Monterrey to go to school for the next three years. He's an
avid bass angler, but isn't afraid to pick up an ultra light and have some
fun whacking redears and bluegill, make long casts to striper boils, or pick
up a fly rod and chase some toothy critters. I was hoping you might be able
to point him towards the fun clubs, and/or where he can hook up with some
other anglers. He's not a pro or pro-team club angler. Just one of those
guys who makes a great back seater. You can drop me a line at:

bob (at) yumabassman (dot) com and I'll be glad to give you his contact
info.

I know Monterrey is a little ways off from you, but maybe you can point him
in the right direction.

Just stepped in and saw your message. Subliminal? Monterey, is more salt
water, but there are some bass lakes especially near Camp Roberts. Probably
some on Fort Ord also or what remains of it. Have him contact me and I will
set him up with some sal****er guys. I broke my wrist end of June and they
just cast it up, so I am not fishing for at least a month. Have been
traveling, Yellowstone, and San Diego. Yak fishing mostly. Did do a 7 day
long range tuna trip end of July out of San Diego. fly rod during rockfish
season around the kelp beds is really fun.
