Default Orvis Green Mountain series question

I'm going to give my son my Orvis fly rod for his birthday. I bought it new
~15 years ago when graphite was new. I can't find any info on it. Any help
will be appreciated.

It's Green Mountain Series 8' 2-7/8 oz, for 6-weight graphite with an Orvis
Madison reel. As I recall I bought it from the Dallas Orvis store and paid
$200+.

....I bought one of those early on in my FFing career, I believe it was
called the "AllRounder" as Orvis claimed it would suffice for trout as well
as bass. A nice rod with a medium action. I used it for a period of time
and then gave it to my brother who was just getting interested in
flyfishing. A decent rod, should make a fine gift for your son.

I believe the current outfit is called the Orvis Streamline 865-2 Mid Flex.:

It's not a 6wt, but a 5wt. but a good starter kit and a great B-day present.
Brings back memories when my dad bought me my first outfit on my B-day years
ago.
What a great dad you are!
