Anyone hear this on todays news? £22-00 PA for "conservation of
stocks" for anglers.

Does anyone see this as anything but another ruse to rob the British
public of yet more taxes?

HN

More like a discredited government trying to kid folk how busy they are
firearms consultation, sea license consultation, goldfish consultation yes
pets(dont) make prizes the find a govt's favourite liar a plum job no
conultation required, purge civil service jobs( er btw we intend to make
another load of jobs with regional assemblies) so much Bovine organic
fertilizer and just before an election too.
If we want to conserve sea fish stocks its soooo easy sack the EC and
restore territorial limits let the EC countries look after their own stocks
maybe we could get our own fishermen back instead of everybody elses

Default seafishing licence.

What have we been paying taxes to, for years???? MAFF and DEFRA etc.
We should all get free licences!!!!

It's just an excuse to squeeze a few more quid for the tax man, from people
who have houses and cars in their name and cannot hide.

What will the Govt do with the £3million anyway?
They'll only waste it on failed asylum seekers who haven't contributed a
cent to the nation and shouldn't be here.

unworkable! IMO

Could they just take car registrations, I wonder?

We'll all have to go fishing by bus. ;-)

Default seafishing licence.

A sea fishing licence could never work, only the honest fisherman would pay.
And what would we get out of it? would thay restock the sea with fish, I
don't think so. Even if they could the trawlers would only decimate them yet
again.

Would it be used to build fishing platforms? has anyone tried to get money
for a jetty? I have and it is not easy.
