Default Best value in waders?

Does anyone have a recommendation for waders?

I'm fishing Northwest rivers and occasionally dipping into the salt water of
Puget Sound. I will probably do some float tubing as well. I'm looking for a
durable-comfort-price compromise.

Thanks!

Simms lightweight breathables. I fish the same waters and all I need under them is
a pair a longjohns and sweats.

Hello All U ROFFers and Mo too,

Any Simms breathable wader depending on your budget:

Freestone $149 - QuadraLam breathable membrane

Lightweights $199 - Gore-Tex breathable membrane

Classic Guide $329 - Gore-Tex with tougher skin and better fit.

G3 - $429 - 20% more breathable Gore-Tex membrane and more cool features.

All are made in the USA (Bozeman, MT) and pressure tested at the factory.

Most all other waders are made overseas with unbelievable profit to the
importers so they can warranty a high percentage of them. I think that Simms
timed everything pretty well because the general fishing public got tired of
the high failure rate of the imported breathable waders. Simms can barely
keep their dealers in product even in this economy.

I understand that Simms make a good product but you may want to have a
look at " Wardell". They are Canadian made and that means you are
paying in Canuck dollars. Bought a pair last year and really liked
them,, Wished that I had bought a pair sooner. Just my Two cents
worth.
