....is in jeapordy if someone doesn't volunteer to fill in for me this year.
A damned near useless left arm and a "limited range of movement" right arm
will keep me on the sidelines this year. I hope someone jumps in to keep it
going. My slicer and dicer sez I should expect normal range of motion
without pain by this spring. I "might" try to tie but holding my left arm
up to the vise at this point doesn't seem likely.

Hell, I could do it. I have a bit more free time & a bit less stress than
this time last year. (That's a long story I won't be sharing.)

But sure, why the heck not. Unless somebody steps up who really, really
wants the job, you have a volunteer.

Oh, but we *need* to hear! Otherwise, we'll just spread rumors. ;-)

I second your self-nomination. You go, boy.

So what's it gonna be? We're burnin' daylight Joe!

Seriously, when ya figure things out, I'd like to be one of the swappers.

Well, I'm giving it a day for anyone else to "speak now or forever hold
their piece". 'Tis a high honor for which I can't simply annoint myself.
Barring any objections from the group's unofficial high muckety-mucks,
likely participants, and past swapmeisters, I'm the guy, I guess.

Seriously, when ya figure things out, I'd like to be one of the swappers.

Maybe so, but you'll have to wait for the "official" announcement & sign-up.

Hi everyone,

I've been tying for more than 10 years now and I did a few swaps back
then (even organized one) but have been mostly inactive these past years
because of my work. But I'm back, tying relaxes me and I'm ready to create.

Right now I'm tying for sal****er (trying to get to Cuba, La Salina, in
march). But I tie mostly for freshwater: trout, bass, crappies and salmon.

If there's a free spot, can I play?

The tradition of the annual ROFF Great Fly Swap is that signup will begin at
midnight on New Year's Eve. You are of course welcome to participate; check
back for the official announcement, guidelines, & signup somewhere closer to
12/31 or 1/01. Whether it's me or some other poor schmuck serving as
swapmeister, that's when the details will be forthcoming, most likely.

I third your self-immolation. Oh, that's the other act.

Aw, heck. When did *that* rule go into effect? The way it always worked in
the past is you said you were going to have a swap and that was that.
Freakin' sissy liberals. ;-)
