Default Fish on

New Alabama State Pier Tuesday
My Grand daughter hooked up to a MASSIVE King Mac, a bunch of us saw it,
it was well over 6 feet in length

It stripped out 300 yds of 20# Ande before she could turn it, she didn't
land the fish but one heck of a long fight, look at the line angle
coming off the rod

a 6 foot king mackeral??!! i think you failed to calculate the
refraction...g that might be a world record on 20 lb line. king
macks are usually 10-30 pounds...never heard of one being 6 feet.
still, it's great to see a kid...especially a young girl...hooked into a
fish that gives such delight.

Jeff they caught a 73# king off a boat this last weekend down there in a
tournament, the fisherman got $10,000 for that smoker

My Son's fish was 5'-10" and 32 #'s, he caught it with 15# test line
(500 yds of it)

My grand daughter's fish was MUCH larger
