A few questions.

1. What are some of those locations?

2. How many trophies have you taken? (Looks like more than a few)

3. What type Cats were those your holding in or near the rivers? I cant
recall seeing any cats with tails like that before. (Or were those even
cats?)

4. Any big trophies on light tackle? Any records?

Thanks
J

Freshwaters are mainly in France (a bit in Florida too). Sal****ers are in
French West Indies in Guadeloupe and Martinique.

For the cats I think hundreds, for the tarpons too but mainly between 10 to
40 pounds, bigger are quite more scarce.

This is the great european catfish (Silurus glanis) that is spread all over
Europe, there is hot spots in Spain, Italy, France and in some East Europe
countries. My catchs are not the biggest ever, actually over 8feet long fish
are caught regularly (over 200pounds).

4. Any big trophies on light tackle? Any records?

I do enjoy light tackle fishing for these species but I do not search for
records, I prefer to use appropriate tackle in order to release the fish in
good conditions.

Thanks for looking,

Phil
