Default deep sea fishin

Thanks for your concern Cliff I am a member at WSF and I do fish Talacre a
couple of times a year tho' as you say not at night and car parking issues
its far enough from the dunes without adding any more distance. A couple of
hours either side of low gives plenty of time to up and away before the
channels get naughty .

Be very very careful at Talacre at this time of year, you fish the deep
channel at low & its a good walk out, the tide floods very quick & the
channels behind you fillup first, its not a first time at night venue for
anyone.
It can get foggy very quickly also.
Ask some of the lads for advice or close alternatives like further up the
river on here
http://www.wirralseafishing.co.uk/forum/phpBB2/ & here
http://www.castandcatch.com/forum/.
Good luck & stay safe.

This is worth a look, Talacre is always good for Dabs but for Cod its
better to steam round to the mouth of the Mersey, just watch out for
traffic.

thanks Cliff : at the mouth of the Dee ,Talacre side ? I was thinking
of a trip we usually go out from Rhos ( Pathfinder) but if the cod are
a bit late I think after Xmas might be favourite, still I do like
Talacre theres usually something peckish about- even if its only
flatties

A few at the mouth of the Dee, the boats are usually in the Mersey by
now but due to repairs to the lock gates at the marina places are
limited so most boats are staying in Rhyl. There are some strange
catches about as to seasonal fish with summer & winter coming in
together but its been like that for a few years now, had Mackerel at
Xmas near Anglesey.
