Default Shark Fishing of Brisbane

My good friend from the US is coming over in Feb. and would like to go out
and catch sharks - the bigger the better (catch and release, I guess).

What are the good spots for that from Sunshine to Gold Coast?

It seems to me that all charters target other types of fish, which are
better eating fish I guess - however we will just drive past the fish shop
on the way home. Is there a good charter with experience in shark fishing?
It doesnt actually have to be a charter, it can just be a local guy willing
to take us out.

Cheers,
Tonny

Visit any beach and use a swimmer as bait. Make sure you tie the swimmer onto the hook so it
doesn't struggle too much.

Hi Tonny

I am unsure as to whether you will find this kind of charter. Also a local
guy may not want sharks being hauled into his boat. I hooked what i thought
was a nice big fish until i landed a bronze whaler just before New Year,
imagine my disappointment. At least caught and released.

cheers
Jeff
