I understand that Joe has stopped stocking trout and has switched entirely
to coarse fishing. Partly due I think to losing stock in the recent hot
summers, which in turn reduced the numbers of trouters who went back. Shame,
I had some really enjoyable days there.
My brohter fishes regularly at Spring Hill and seems to do well there.
Anyone been to Lakedown? Reopened after a long closure, still owned by
Daltrey?

Yes - I've been there a few times since it reopened. Really pretty
fishery, 4 lakes, about 25 acres in all, I think, good fishing. It's
still owned by Roger Daltrey - at least it was last time I went.
