Default loop knot

I picked up the schematic on how to tie it from outdoorfronteer (sp)
site...thanks. The only problem it is hard to get a small loop when tieing the
knot. I want a loop sightly larger than a round toothpick. Is there a jig or
aid i could use to get a small loop.
